Ilan Elbaz is the Sustainable Development Manager at the Sir Mortimer B. Davis Jewish General Hospital (JGH) in Montreal, Quebec.  His mandate is to manage and develop the Jewish General Hospital’s sustainability program. To date he has successfully earned the JGH the Building Owners and Managers Association’s(BOMA) “Go Green” certification by implementing environmental best practices in resource consumption, waste reduction & recycling, sustainable building material practices, CFC and HVAC management, as well as hospital-wide green education and awareness. He is also a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) accredited professional, certified by the Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC) with a specialty in new construction and major renovations.
