Jocelyn is a Principal with Cannon Design in Chicago and leads the healthcare Interior Design practice. She promotes the benefits of quality interior design in healthcare, champions its impact on revenue, branding and patient/staff/family quality of life. Bringing a strategic focus to clients, she challenges them to utilize the best available evidence regarding the built environment and its effect on those who experience these facilities. With nearly 30 years experience, she has successfully designed healthcare projects of a variety of scale and scope, for such clients that include Northwest Community Hospital, Northwestern Prentice Women’s Hospital, OSF Milestone, Advocate Lutheran General and Banner Good Samaritan.
Jocelyn has published articles in several magazines on topics related to Infection Control, Bariatrics and trends in healthcare interior design. She has been a speaker at the Health Design Conference, NeoCon and Healthcare Facilities Symposium. She is the President of the American Academy of Healthcare Interior Designers (AAHID) and has been integrally involved in the research efforts for the Froedtert Clinical Cancer Center’s Pebble Project and is an EDAC accredited professional.
A graduate of The University of Tennessee, she serves on the Board of Advisors to the College of Architecture and Design.
