Kenneth Mays is Director of Marketing for Bumrungrad International, the largest private hospital in Southeast Asia and one of the world's leading medical destinations.
During his five years at Bumrungrad, the hospital attracted some 1.5 million patients from 200 different countries outside of Thailand. Bumrungrad was the first hospital in Asia accredited by the Joint Commission. Its facilities, services, and website have been cited as models for international hospitals.
Ken’s career prior to Bumrungrad included senior advertising and marketing positions in the US and Asia. He has supervised brand and new product strategies for Kraft, Kellogg's, IBM, Nestle, and Group Health Cooperative. He managed the offices of Chicago advertising agency Leo Burnett in Bangkok and Hong Kong.
In addition to his career accomplishments, Ken co-authored a university advertising textbook and computer simulation, and developed and taught a course in Integrated Marketing Communications at the University of Washington. He is a graduate of the University of Oregon's School of Journalism.
