Martha Coleman, MSN, RN, OCNbegan her oncology nursing career at MD Anderson Cancer Center as an inpatient nurse on the Bone Marrow Transplant unit.  She subsequently worked in the Genitourinary Center before beginning work for a nationally known insurance provider as a Case Manager.  Martha returned to the clinical arena and MD Anderson with a position in the Head and Neck Center before accepting a position as a Quality Management Coordinator for MD Anderson Physician’s Network. Martha pursued her under graduate and graduate degrees in Nursing Leadership at the University of Texas Medical Branch- Galveston.  In her current role as the Nurse Manager for MD Anderson’s International Center and International Cancer Assessment Center, Martha is responsible for the daily operations of multilingual staff that assist patients and families from all over the world with the daunting task of seeking oncology care far from home.
