Maureen Kennedy-Harlan is the Global Benefits Director for Joy Global Inc., an international manufacturer of mining equipment with over 14,000 employees worldwide. Maureen has global responsibility for all Health, Welfare, Wellness and Retirement programs for Joy Global and its subsidiaries, P&H Mining Equipment, Joy Mining Machinery and LeTourneau Technologies.
Prior to joining Joy Global Inc., Maureen was the Benefits Manager at Froedert Hospital in Milwaukee, WI. She also held various benefits related positions at Brady Corporation, Snap-on Incorporated, and S.C. Johnson.
Maureen received her BBA degree in Finance and Human Resources Management from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 1997 and her MBA from Marquette University in 2004. In addition, she earned her accreditation as a Certified Employee Benefits Specialist in 1998. In 2010, Maureen was named to the Milwaukee Business Journal’s “Forty Under 40” list, recognizing Milwaukee area’s emerging generation of leaders. Maureen Kennedy-Harlan has over 17 years experience in the benefits industry.
