Maureen Bennett chairs the firm’s Global Life Sciences cross-practice team. Ms. Bennett has represented both private and public pharmaceutical, medical device and biotechnology companies in connection with the preparation and negotiation of US and international clinical trial site agreements, CRO agreements and related consulting agreements, including providing counsel on clinical trial regulatory issues. She also assists pharmaceutical and agricultural chemical companies in connection with cross-boundary acquisition and investment transactions, as well as product supply, manufacturing and development agreements.

Ms. Bennett has presented on the topic of clinical trial disclosure liability before the International BioMed Society (2004), Arizona BioIndustry Association, Massachusetts BioTechnology Council and the New England Chapter of Clinical Research Professionals (2005). She has also presented on the topic of managing global clinical trials before the BayBio Exposition (2005) and has co-chaired the ACI Global Clinical Trials Conference in Boston (2007) and in New York (2008).

1-Advising several US- and Japan-based clients in the management of multijurisdictional pre- and post-marketing clinical trials
2-Serving as onsite counsel to a US-based pharmaceutical company in managing multijurisdictional clinical trials on an accelerated basis in the UK, US, Portugal, France, Taiwan, Brazil, Italy and Canada
3-Advising a US-based pharmaceutical client in CRO contract negotiations
4-Advising a US-based pharmaceutical company in drug export requirements in Africa
