Export-Import Bank of the U.S.
William “Bill” Rowland has the lead for the Medical Technologies Initiative with the Export-Import Bank of the United States. Bill is responsible for carrying the message of Exim’s financing support to the international Healthcare community. Exim Bank’s charter is to create jobs by supporting US exporters. The official credit agency of the U.S. also provides financing for foreign buyers for medical equipment and the development of medical infrastructure in their home countries.
Prior to joining Exim Bank, Bill was a Commercial Mortgage Broker. A licensed Realtor for twenty years, Bill has been involved in the acquisition and development of real estate sites and held the Certified International Property Specialist designation from the National Association of Realtors. As a commercial real estate appraiser and Licensed Mortgage Broker, his real estate mortgage background has been both extensive and varied.
Prior to entering the private sector, with a New York advertising agency, Mr. Rowland served four years in the US Navy traveling widely in the Far East. His Navy assignments included Communications Officer with the 7th Fleet and Assistant Division Officer, U.S. Naval Security Station, Washington, DC. He received a Bachelor’s Degree from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service.
