Currently posted as Director for health division at Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office in the U.S. (TECRO) since July, 2016, Dr. Lu has amassed much domestic and international public health experiences to face various health issues today.
Clinically trained as a pediatrician, he also has an uncanny insight towards the essence of public health: children, infectious diseases and the underprivileged.
Representing Ministry of Health and Welfare, Taiwan, Dr. Lu has thorough knowledge of medical resources within Taiwan and role of Taiwan in the region. With past experience as county level public health administrator in a multi-ethnic setting (2013~2015), inbound and outbound medical referral has been constant issues addressed, including both local residents and international tourists. More so with international education background (Singapore, Philippine, US) and work experience (Africa, US), cross border medical issues are part of diverse work experience repertoire Dr. Lu can offer.
High standard of medical care has been attracting patrons from neighboring countries to Taiwan for certain specialty care, aesthetic medicine and executive health maintenance services. Some unique travel related products like hot spring, resort style health enhancement/maintenance, are also been designed and promoted by both official and private entities for both local and international patronage in designated area.
