The Croatian Chamber of Economy
Leila Krešić-Jurić, Director of Tourism Sector at the Croatian Chamber of Economy, gained experience in tourism in Spain and in Croatian hotel industry. Graduated in economics and fluent in four foreign languages, she got additional education at Cornell and Harvard Kennedy School. For several years she acted as expert member of Tourism Committee at the Croatian Parliament. Her expertise includes tourism trends, education and project management, but mostly in health tourism industry due to the Association of Health Tourism founded at CCE that became leader in putting altogether stakeholders of wellness, spa and medical tourism offered in Croatia and acting as co-organizer of the leading European event in health tourism – HTI conference.
The Croatian Chamber of Economy (CCE) is an independent professional and business organisation of all legal entities in Croatia. All companies registered at the Commercial Court are obligatory members of CCE. Headquarter is based in Zagreb and it counts on 20 county chambers, gathering almost 80 professional associations. The CCE protects the interests of its members in Croatia and abroad – influencing the change of regulations, providing promotion through B2B and networking events that lead to new with business partners, ensuring legal and fiscal advice, business information and databases as well as information on potential funding. It also offers entrepreneurship learning through seminars, training and conferences.
