Originally from Ukraine, Maryna Lapta has been passionate about cultural diversity, learning languages and discovering new countries since early childhood. While still very young, she came to the United States to work in the hospitality and tourism industry where she improved her English, got accustomed to the American lifestyle and learned the necessary skills that built a crucial foundation for her future career.
Maryna graduated with honors from University of Maine (France), where she received her MBA in International Business. She successfully completed an internship at Medifrance Solution and showed interest in promoting the company’s values. This lead to her current position where she works as International Relations and Development Manager. Her main responsibilities include working with representatives of the global medical tourism industry, establishing relationships with business partners and representing the company at international conferences.
Ms. Lapta is also an active member of the French Medicine and Medical Tourism Development Association. She is very keen on the development of France as a full-fledged actor of the medical tourism market. She believes that receiving healthcare abroad is gaining momentum in today’s globalized world, regardless of whether the government wants to participate in the market growth or not. In the Association, Maryna actively supports the idea of France opening its doors to overseas patients and the health care industry becoming more transparent and social. She believes that creating synergy is the only way to sustain progress and that medical tourism is not just a one-time medical travel, but the key to bringing medical care all over the world to a higher level.
