Tamar Tchelidze, MD, MPH has over 16 years of experience in strategic and operational planning, resource mobilization, management and M&E of health and development programs. At the Embassy of Georgia Tamar serves as a focal point and technical adviser to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Affairs of Georgia as well as other Government agencies. Throughout her diplomatic career Tamar has initiated and managed number of global projects contributing to the development of healthcare in Georgia
Tamar’s career objective is to help achieve better health outcomes for Georgian population and play a leading role in policy, regulatory and capacity building interventions for ensuring equitable access to high quality care both in public health and clinical interventions. Her outstanding performance has been widely recognized both in the United States and in Georgia.
Dr. Tchelidze is currently pursuing her doctorate degree at the Department of Health Policy and Management at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health
