William “Bill” Rowland is a Business Development Officer with the Export-Import Bank of the United States. As a member Global Business Development Division, Bill is part of the outreach team to exporters and foreign buyers of medical products and services. The official credit agency of the U.S., the Ex-Im Bank provides guarantees for working capital for capital equipment and inventory and insures against non-payment of export invoices. In addition, loan guarantees to banks provides support for foreign buyers’ purchases of U.S. goods and services.

Prior to joining Ex-Im Bank, Bill was a Commercial Mortgage Broker. As a licensed Realtor and commercial appraiser, his back ground with small business and commercial financing has been extensive.

A graduate with a Bachelors Degree from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service, Mr. Rowland served four years in the US Navy traveling widely in the Far East. His Navy assignments included Communications Office on USS Cabildo (LSD-16) and Assistant Division Officer, Naval Security Station, Washington, DC.

Active in the community Bill has served as Chairman of the Tampa Bay International Business Council, a member: of the Mayor’s Global Business Development Committee, the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce International Committee, and the Advisory Board, International Business Board of the University of South Florida.
